Activate dvd-menu:

The xkey makes use of a config file called xkey.cfg to change settings on the device.
This file is a simple text file that you can edit with any text editor (line started with # are comments line)

1. Download the latest xkey firmware version
2. Edit the xkey.cfg config file
   • MENUISO=N
   • MENUDVD=Y
3. Copy the 3 files to the root folder of a Flash Drive or HDD
   • Files should be: "rootfs", "uImage" and "xkey.cfg"
   • The root folder should be the root of the first partition
   • Make sure to eject your drive properly to avoid corrupt files
4. Connect the Flash Drive or HDD to the xkey
5. Start the xbox
6. Wait for the xkey to start the update
   • The remote OLED should display "UPDATING - PLEASE WAIT" for about 35 seconds
   • Do not turn off the xbox or disconnect the remote while updating
7. Wait for the xkey to finish the update
   • The remote OLED should display "UPDATE COMPLETE - RESET XBOX"
8. Reboot the xbox

Dvd-menu usage:

1. Create a folder called 'games' (lowercase) on the root of your HDD
   • The root should be the root of the first partition
2. Complete the Build a dvd-menu tutorial
3. Connect your HDD to the xkey
4. Start the xbox
5. Press (A) on the open tray option
   • The tray should auto close and load the dvd-menu
6. Play the dvd-menu
7. Navigate through it and select a game by pressing (A)
8. Press the (Center) button then (Y) for Xbox Home
   • You should be back to the dashboard screen
9. Press (Y) again to eject the tray
   • Dvd-menu should be ejected
10. Once close your game should be loaded
